Welcome to Baby Steps - Belly Laughs


Baby Steps - Belly Laughs is a service for you and your family through me, Megan Stauffer. Throughout the website you will learn about the various services that I can bring you and your newest member of your family.

I offer day and overnight service, as well as special pricing to those families who need it most.

For over a decade, I have been a caregiver of very young children. I believe the first few years are crucial for a young child’s developing mind, body, and personality.

Through doula care, I am able to support mother and father and help guide their transition, whether they are first time parents, or having a second, third or fourth child. Doulas offer emotional support and encouragement to parents; they lend a helping hand, answer questions, and recommend professional assistance when appropriate.

With compassionate and loving care, parents feel supported and infant feel secure. Establishing a circle of support for parents and children creates an ideal situation for attachment and bonding. 		  
Megan Stauffer has been a wonderful childcare provider to our two children (now aged 2 and 1) for the past two years, including serving as a postpartum doula after the birth of our second son. She has a wealth of information about caring for infants and toddlers, and is tremendously nurturing, calm, patient, and creative in actively enaging the children in developmental activities. Her dependability and integrity are unimpeachable. I would recommend her as babysitter, nanny, or doula to anyone.
